Bleed Kit for Magura
Here's a bleed kit for bleeding Magura brakes. It contains a syringe, tubing with a caliper adapter and a bleed funnel with an adapter for the lever. Conveniently Magura has used this connection system in their brakes for over ten years! We used to sell kits with two syringes but we've found that bleeding brakes with a funnel is much better than two syringes. The biggest perk though, is you can now do a lever bleed (like on shimano brakes). You'll still need to get some mineral oil and we recommend making a bleed block of some sort for your brakes.

Pad Retaining Bolt for Shimano & Magura Brakes
Sick of the split pin on your shimano (or magura) brake caliper? Here's a retaining bolt to use so your pads are more secure and changing them is easier. Shimano note: These are only compatible with Shimano calipers that have a thread in the casting for the bolt. The thread is located on the outboard side of the brake caliper as illustrated by the photo below. If you have the thread you can use this bolt. Also note that these bolts also fit shimano "road" brakes (ultegra etc.). The standard bolt that comes with these brakes is slightly shorter and has a flat-head drive but these bolts also fit and it's much nicer to use a hex head bolt. Magura note: These can also be used on Magura MT5 and MT7 calipers. Here's a photo from a fantastic customer, Jacob, which shows what that looks like on an MT5.

Bleed kit spare parts - Mineral Oil
This product listing is designed to solve our historic pet peeves with brake bleed kits: 1) You can't usually get replacement parts2) The limited selection of fittings with good brake bleed kits forces you to purchase multiple bleed kits if you want to bleed different brakes. If you're using the same oil, why not use the same core parts of a kit? By selling all useful parts for Mineral Oil bleed kits you should be able to replace worn parts and adapt your kit to work with other brakes. At some point, we will list what each of these things does. For now, just reach out if you would like to source something and don't know what you are after 😊

Premium bleed kit for Shimano brakes
So you’ve decided to bleed your brakes. You know it’s worth doing for the cost savings, convenience, satisfaction and cool points. Now you’re tossing up between this kit and our basic bleed kit. Why this kit is rad The key differences between this kit and our simple kit are a larger tall/narrow syringe (60mL) and lever funnel (60mL). This kit significantly reduces the amount of time taken to bleed your brakes and the mess that you’ll create. Our simple bleed kit, and all competitor kits, use small (20-30mL) syringes and funnels. Your brakes contain 40-50mL of fluid. If you’re doing a full bleed, you’ll need to stop halfway through the bleed to refill the syringe and empty the funnel. That's easy enough to do, but you will burn 3-10 minutes with this faff. Connecting and disconnecting your bleed kit is also the single largest source of mess - doing this once instead of twice reduces the mess (& frustration) a bunch. Additionally, other lever funnels are short and squat, which means bleeds need to be done with a levelled lever so fluid doesn’t spill out the side of the cup. After the bleed, you’ll then need to rotate your lever back to its original position. This tall & narrow lever funnel doesn’t need to change position for a bleed and you’ll have to accidentally knock it a lot harder to spill any fluid. Other features of this kit Brass threadThe brass thread won’t wear (or break) like plastic funnel threads are prone to. SecureLink adapterThe SecureLink adapter (that’s what we call it) does the following: Guides the hose onto the bleed nipple and reduces the effort required to get it on there Makes the connection significantly more secure which reduces the chance of accidentally pulling the tube off the caliper Eliminates connecting the hose on an angle which can introduce air when pulling the syringe Securelink in action The choices you have are:Road adapterAn adapter to adapt the bleed funnel to the larger diameter bleed fitting of Shimano drop bar brakes - think road/gravel - Shimano 105, Ultegra, GRX and so on. 7mm spannerRequired to open the Shimano bleed port to get fluid flowing. Necessary, but a lot of you have them already! Before you finish your purchase Make sure you’ve got all the equipment to bleed your brakes. You’ll need the following: Some mineral oil, we offer either 250mL or 1L A bleed block

Hayes Dominion DOT Bleed Kit (Also old formula)
Getting shops to bleed your brakes can be bloody expensive. Some shops charge $70 per end, and when you get the bike back the lever often isn't set up how you like it. And don't even get us started about the wait times for servicing over summer 😅 Solve all of that by bleeding your own brakes. It's pretty easy to pick up and, once you've learned, a full bleed takes about an hour for both ends and costs sod all - just the cost of fluid. You'll also be able to do it when you need to - we've saved a lot of rides by bleeding our brakes at the last minute. Here's a kit that we've made for bleeding Hayes DOT fluid brakes. These include the Dominion A2, A4, and T4 models as well as the Stroker, Prime, Dyno, and Nine series. This kit is not compatable with brakes using mineral oil such as Hayes Radar. During our research, we were horrified that some kits didn't use DOT-compatible tubing, including a notable local brand. Non-compatible tubing swells after months and will only do limited bleeds before splitting. These kits include all you need to bleed Hayes Dominion Brakes as well as other Hayes brakes using M5 threaded fittings. They are also compatible with all older type Formula hydraulic brakes (Oro, C1, R1, R0, K24, K18…). They are not compatible with Formula Cura or any other mineral oil brake. All kits include: 2x 30mL 3-part syringes with DOT-compatible plungers1x Torx T10 wrench2x threaded fittings Other notes You will also need a bleed block to perform the service You can also add 250mL of Liqui Moly DOT 5.1 fluid if you need some. The shelf life of this is 12 months from the date of opening. Please ignore the cheeky "expiry" date printed on the bottle by the manufacturer, this seems disingenous to us. Our favourite part of these kits is the tubing, which can be clamped without being a bodybuilder - if you've ever used an avid kit you'll know what we are talking about...
